We chose to include the 5 types of collagen below because whether your pet is a growing puppy, an active adult, or a senior experiencing age-related issues, a diverse collagen blend provides full spectrum support of your pets lifestyle. What are the 5 collagen types and why are they important?

Type I - Makes up 90% of the body's collagen. Type I is densely packed and used to provide structure to skin, bones, tendons, and ligaments.

Type II - Found in elastic cartilage, which provides joint support.

Type III - Found in muscles, arteries and organs.

Type V - Found in the cornea of eyes, some layers of skin, hair, and tissue of the placenta.

Type X - Involved in the growth, mineralization and remodeling of articular cartilage.

There are 60 servings in our Collagen Plus. 1 serving = 1/2 teaspoon.

A pet that weighs <25lbs, it will last 60 days. For a pet that weighs 26-50 lbs, this will last 30 days. For a pet that weighs 51-75lbs, this will last 20 days. For a pet that weighs >76 lbs, it will last 15 days.

Our Collagen Plus is manufactured in the USA with domestic and imported ingredients in an FDA-registered GMP facility, and NASC certified. Each batch is third party tested for potency and purity.

Hydrolyzed collagen, or denatured collagen, is collagen that has been broken into its peptide components by means of enzymes, heat, or pH. Undenatured (native) collagen type II retains its native triple helix conformation.

Our Collagen Plus is suitable for pets of all ages.

Typically a chicken sensitivity comes from ingesting the muscle protein (like a chicken breast). The UC-II chicken collagen in this product comes from chicken sternum (cartilage and bone). While each pet’s system is unique, it is possible that the proteins that typically cause a sensitive reaction are not present in this type of preparation.

The marine collagen in Fera's Collagen Plus is sourced from wild Alaskan cod skin.

    We love a good multi benefit product!

    We are so excited to add this to our supplement routine! Our 2 Frenchies have been on Fera's Hip + Joint soft chew since they were puppies and we are so excited to add another joint health supplement to the mix, great that it also helps skin and coat too!

    Wow! Love all the different types of collagen

    Finally a Collage Supplement for my pet!!

    I've been looking for a high-quality Collagen Supplement for my pet for years. My pup is 14 years old and deals with age-related stiffness (bones/joints). I'm truly grateful for this new product. I can always count on Fera to produce a pure product without unnecessary fillers. 10/10 recommend.

    Collagen Plus is a Must-Have!

    I have been taking collagen supplements myself for several years. Time for my pup to also enjoy the benefits!     My dog is better taken care of than me

    This collagen supplement is better than the one I take for myself. I love the fact it's a powder and I easily mix it onto his food. He is still a growing dog, 100lbs!!, and I know this is helping him grow to be his best healthiest self. Love that this one has all the different types so it's great for his whole body. Nothing but the best for my big baby!!!
