The Importance of Taurine: Cats and certain dog breeds are unable to produce enough taurine. Though most diets can improve taurine intake, adding cardiac supplements that contain this important amino acid can ensure they receive enough which supports a healthy heart. Fera's cardiac support is formulated to provide an effective amount of taurine to support your pet's heart health. 

*Each capsule is about 23mm in length. For cats, we recommend always opening the capsule and sprinkling the powder.

Yes, we offer the perfect blend of Eastern and Western ingredients but that's merely part of the solution. It's just as important to have the correct amount per serving otherwise those ingredients won't be effective.

Give 1 capsule per 25 lbs on a daily basis. If giving more than 1 capsule daily, divide between AM and PM. Capsule may be given whole, in a pill pocket, or opened and sprinkled.

For multi-pet households or large dogs, we recommend the 120ct size.

We recommend the 60 capsule size for pets less than 50 pounds. The 60 capsule size will last 60 days for a pet less than 25 pounds and 30 days for a pet between 26-50 pounds.

For pets over 50 pounds or multi-pet households, we recommend the 120 capsule size. This will last 120 days for a pet less than 25 pounds, 60 days for a pet between 26-50 pounds, 40 days for a pet between 51-75 pounds and 30 days for a pet greater than 76 pounds.

No, the powder is salmon flavored. However, the capsule shell is a vegan capsule.

The Coenzyme Q10 in our cardiac support is of the ubiquinone form. Ubiquinol is not stable when exposed to oxygen.

    Excellent product

    Although this review seems to be placed under the reviews for calming support, I am not sure which product is making the difference in my dogs. I have them on 4 Fera Pets products. Cardiac support, calming, probiotics and post biotics.

    My male dog is 11 and he has mitral valve disease. His heart has enlarged due to his cardiac disease. We saw a change for the worse and started him on Cardiac support just after we began a second heart medication. I am not sure if it is the combination of both, or one over the other, but there is a positive change in him so I will continue with both therapies.

    My female who is 8 has been experiencing stomach upset for a very long time. We have tried everything ! She would wake at 5 am or earlier many mornings. I would wake earlier because her belly would gurgle so loudly. As soon as I heard it, I knew she would be waking me to go outside to eat grass and would not eat her breakfast. I have her on calming support plus the pro and post biotics. She is like a new dog and she isn't even consuming the recommended daily allowance yet. It is quite evident that she is feeling better, she is not waking early, not looking to go outside to search for grass and is excited to eat her daily meals. She is playing more and it warms my heart to see her feeling so well.

    A very good product!

    We are very happy with this product and continue to use it daily and our dog food. We have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and they prone to later cardiac issues! We feel like using this product will help them in their later life also! It taste fine my dogs don’t mind it. I open up the capsule and put it in their food! We are very happy with this product!

    While my dogs are on this supplement there is no way to know if it is working. They’ll continue to have regular checkups with their vets and con monitor them with bloodwork.

    Murmur disappeared

    Our Tucker was diagnosed with a mild heart murmur by 2 different vets ( in the same office). I decided to try the cardiac support since he was only 6 years old. Within about a year or less our primary vet said the murmur was completely gone. Is there a connection? I don’t know, I can only share our experience.

    Very happy to have found this product. Vet gave it the thumbs up too! I like knowing that I am doing a bit more to help my dog with his heart murmur as well as the prescription medication. My dog is tolerating it well….i sprinkle 1 capsule on his lunch every day.
