Delicious fall-inspired treats are just one of the many reasons that autumn is one of my favorite times of the year, but these comforting snacks aren’t exclusive to humans. Here are some fun and easy fall treats for dogs that you can make right at home and share with your furry best friend.

How to Make Any Treat Delicious AND Nutritious

Whether you’re making fall treats for dogs, a lick mat recipe, or homemade pet food, selecting the right ingredients for their overall health and well-being is of the utmost importance. That’s why I suggest adding a pet supplement to your dog treat recipes.

You can choose a supplement formulated to target specific health issues or one that simply gives your pet’s body the essential vitamins and minerals they need to stay healthy. If you’re not sure, talk with your veterinarian about which pet supplements would be best based on your dog’s current health profile.

Here are just a few suggestions from Fera Pet Organics to help you get started:

  • Pumpkin Plus Fiber Support: This fall staple isn’t just for lattes. Pumpkin is a superfood for pets and chock-full of fiber, Vitamin A, iron, folate, and more. Just sprinkle a scoop of this powdered supplement into your recipe to give your dog all the incredible health benefits of the treasured gourd.
  • Multivitamin Goat Milk Topper: Our goat milk meal toppers are an excellent choice to add an extra special surprise to your dog’s treat recipe.
